Team Voltage is ready to roll! With the majority of our robot complete, all that's left is working out the final bugs. This weekend features testing of our code and more importantly, drivers tryouts! Students compete to see who will drive and manipulate the robot during competition. Anyone from the team is welcome to give the bot a spin. Charge Up, Voltage

At the Palm Bay Maker Faire, we set up a booth to demonstrate our robot and raise awareness for our team. We brought out our 2016 Stronghold robot and a few VEX robots created for demonstration purposes. Unfortunately, around midway through the day, the catapult on our robot broke. Luckily, we were able to repair it in around 45 minutes, and the rest of the day went by without further incident. Our stand was fairly popular, and was always surrounded by kids wanting to interact with the robots. By introducing more people to FIRST Robotics and STEM, we hope to inspire future engineers! The software sub team is hard at work, utilizing the teams test bots in order to verify their code and work out the bugs, ensuring that once the real bot is complete that it will be ready to roll. Mentors sit back as students take the lead in brainstorming program concepts, in addition to allowing seniors to help teach the younger students whilst still offering their knowledge and support. Keep up the good work! Charge Up,
